Tan not developing

I did a spray tan on Thursday afternoon for a very pale client who said she wanted to be dark. We use sienna X mainly 8% and 10% so I used the 10% on her and told her she should wash it off in 8 hours, just before bed. Get a call on Friday morning saying it hasn't developed at all but she hasn't showered yet (at which point I thought why are you calling then?!). Is it possible for it to not develop or was she maybe being awkward because she hadn't showered yet? This has never happened before.

How would she know it hadnt developed if she hadn't washed it off? She would still have the guide colour on so would look brown xx

That's very strange!! Did you see any guide colour as you were spraying her? Have you
Spoken to her since she showered? I bet it was her first spray tan. Those clients are usually the worst!!
