UV light

Hi there- i do gel nails and on my table at home i have just borrowed my boyfs light which says its a UV filter light(lamp)
Does anyone know if this will affect the gel???

I think it would be more advisable to invest in a specialist uv nail lamp :biggrin:

Oh sorry Lmao
I would be careful because if it is a uv lamp it will cause your gel to start curing while your working at applying it.
