I have just started using a Pro roller cartridge heater instead of my usual compact heater as have been advised it is much quicker however having major problems! The wax seems to look like it has cooled and gelled on the skin and not easy to remove. The wax is hot enough and thin and i am working quickly . Have also tried different paper and fabric strips but no success. Have seen on other threads that some people use oil first which i have never heard of? Can anyone shed some light please as it looks so unprofessional!

Probably the wax try a different one.It will set quickly Ifthey are cold though so you may need to work in smaller patches.

Sounds like a cheap wax to me.

Thanks for your help. The wax was hive as it came with the hive roller system but will look into different makes and try again!
