Waxing over tattoos?

Evening!
I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of waxing over tattoos.
A clients husband would like a back wax and his last session of his tattoo was around March/April.
I don't want to damage the skin or affect the tattoo in anyway.
Any feedback would be appreciated x

Thanks. Last session was February so should have healed nicely. Would you suggest a disclaimer also.

to be honest i would put something about tattoos in your consultation forms.. And perhaps a note to suggest the client let his or her tattooist know they will have regular treatments too. as long as the tattoo has not been done in the last 12 weeks I would imagine it would be fine.

I have a lot of big tattoos and a lot of my body covered....as long as they are healed it is ok to wax......xsx
