What way to cleanse around the eye?

Hi!! I’m revising for my apply make up level 2 assessment resit on Friday I got 3 answers wrong...one being about cleansing the eye and what way to wipe? From inner corner to outer or outer corner to inner? Sorry for sounding silly! Ive looked in my vtct learning guide and looked online and any seem to find the answer..
