Just though I'd share this. Today we went to an employers information session at a local hotel. One of the areas discussed was the upcoming pensions.
As we know, self employed and employed in this industry is a tricky area, but if you are supplying products for a therapist and taking a share of their earnings, they may be classed as self employed, but they are also regarded as "workers" and as such, you may have to provide them with a workplace pension. The only way to avoid this completely is to rent them a room - no grey area!
There were some other criteria, but it's worth checking that you can't be found liable x
