Alternative uniform

Anyone got any alternative uniforms to the old school tunic?! Such awful fabrics from all suppliers too hot for summer and don't move nor are there very current and up to date when working in a fashionable high end hair salon where the stylists are in nice black dresses I feel frumpy in my beauty uniform!

I wear a grey cotton t shirt, beige linen trousers with a short apron that's got salon name on.

I can't wear the beauty tunics, get too hot and sweaty in them.

Could you join the nice black dress crew? I'm always in black skinnys, black top, black jacket & obnoxiously bright coloured vans with equally obnoxious socks

I'd say go the way of the hairdressers too?

When we moved into a beauty girls eased out from tunics (because they were hot and restrictive) and into stuff like us. Typically all black. I favour black skinnies and tops/chiffony blouses in winter, dresses in summer. If you wanted more of a uniform feel, you could always get your favourite style tshirt and have logos printed.
