After a very successful launch in Europe, the JK Group have brought Beauty Angel's Energising Light Technology (ELT) Therapy to our British shores. In a nutshell, the company claim that this treatment will rejuvenate and revitalise your skin by boosting the natural production of collagen and elastin. Simples, no?

The treatment, which claims to be 100% totally safe, is non-invasive, and uses no lasers, UV, injections or surgery to make skin look firmer, tighter, healthier and, of course, younger. Suitable for all skin types, the treatment significantly reduces the major signs of visible ageing.

If you're anything like me (i.e. a bit rubbish at science) then you may want to listen up because this is the technical stuff. Unlike any other light therapy treatment, Beauty Angel ELT Therapy uses a broad active light spectrum of 570-850 nanometers, instead of selective wavelengths. Light induced skin rejuvenation is more effective when several spectral ranges are applied at the same time, ensuring that Beauty Angel ELT is as about effective as it gets.

By using various spectral components of light to encourage the regenerative process, the blood circulation in the skin is also boosted. The near infrared light treatment penetrates the skin more deeply making it effective in all epidermal layers, where it improves metabolic processes. Skin cells regenerate 150-200% faster and there is an improved supply of oxygen to the skin. It influences the supply of oxygen and energy and water balance which are all key to ensuring a fresh, healthy complexion, sustainable regeneration and skin rejuvenation.

And that's not all. It's not just your face and skin that benefits. Cells and connective tissues and gently activated and stimulated. As well as the cosmetics aspects, the golden light exerts a number of biopositive effects on the whole body enabling relaxation and mood lightening. The production of collagen and elastin in the connective tissue also means that the treatment will also have a positive effect on hair and nail growth, bones and tendons. Even more interesting, the treatment enhances skin's ability to absorb all beauty products and optimises their effectiveness.

The treatment is gentle and can be used over wide areas of the body. In the short term, results will show soft, supple skin, increased hydration, glowing complexion, increased resistance and refined pores. Longer term benefits include a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, less visible age and pigment spots, reduced swelling around the eyes.

Until then...geek on!
