Hello everyone!

I just need some advice I have looked into doing filler and Botox. I need to know how I go about getting a license to work in my own home. I can’t find no information on my local council. Only that you need to submit an application.
I haven’t set up yet as I want to know costs and what they will be looking out for once I have set up.
Has anyone got any experience on this please?

I was hoping someone was going to respond that's in your line of specialism.
I have not got experience in your treatments, but my electrolysis background had local council by-laws to attain, I don't offer it now .
Look up the accupuncture/tatooing/earpiercing/ electrolysis regs with your council online and it should show you what adaptations to your treatment room, levels of hygiene, washing facilities in your room is needed to comply. It's things like ensuring safe disposal of blood and contamination of needles that is the concern. Also using couch roll ( get through shed loads of the stuff anyway!) and providing the utmost care in avoiding the cross contamination of surfaces etc. Easily cleaned surfaces is important too, hard floors etc.
We aslo had a duty to have very short nails no enhancements on etc, and adequate nail scrubbing facilities in the treatment room. Even though gloves will be used. That was my experience anyway and may not be the same for your line of work. Plus it was a few decades ago!
As to cost I have no idea so good luck.
