Hi ladies,
I just wondered if I was to start doing 5-6 friends waxing/ tans/ shellac a month from home would I need to tell my landlord? I work full time in a salon but now I've moved into my own place so can do friends from home. Any help is appreciated x

You would have signed a residential tenancy so your landlord won't be covered for you to run a business from their home. I would speak to them and make it clear that it is just friends and family and hopefully they will be okay with it and not see it as a problem.

I've been to a couple of beauty rooms in rented accommodation.

One had told her landlord, the other one hadn't even though you should.

You should as he won't be covered by his landlord insurance for business use, when I rented my landlord was fine about me doing it but if anything happened I would be fully responsible as insurance wouldn't cover it. With you doing so little I'd still run it past them.
