Hi everyone,
I was taught during my training that the UV Top Coat (used to finish acrylic sets) needs to be buffed off for removal as the way it break downs clogs files. That your file will look like okay, but really it's not working to it's full grit as it's got top coat stuck to it.
For this reason, I keep tools used for this purpose separate and have never used my e-file to remove this coat.
Is this the case for ALL UV top coats??
