With every beauty brand doing a limited edition product to support Breast Cancer Awareness month, there's no way you could have missed it. The beauty industry seems to support this cause more than any other and a hair salon in Horsham has launched a campaign to raise awareness of the disease and to help developing countries.
Strands Hair salon in Horsham is asking you to stop by and 'Bin Your Bra'. You know that bra that doesn't quite fit and you only wear it on laundry day? Or the one that looks beautiful but feels like you've got a belt of nails strapped around your chest? Well, if you have any unwanted or ill-fitting bras lying around (and you're near East Street in Horsham) then drop in and drop them off.
For every tonne of bras donated "Against Breast Cancer" will receive £1000.00 and the bras themselves will be shipped to Africa where they remain too expensive to produce locally.
Plus, if you donate a bra, Strands will give you a £5 voucher to use at the salon in October and November 2013.
So, get binning!
Until then...geek on!
