Of course, any competition that labels the winner the Ultimate Geek is obviously going to catch our attention (even though it's got nothing to with us). Instead, the competition is IBD's attempt to discover the best nail artist they can find and this year the wonderful Nicola Lambeth walked away with the coveted title.
Not only does Nicola hold the title of 'Ultimate Geek' she also received a massive goody bag full of JustGel treasure and a chance to get one-to-one mentoring with an IBD educator.
Speaking to Scratch magazine, their own deputy editor, Helena Biggs, who helped whittle down the top 10 entries said, "Nicola’s design is fresh, innovative and exciting – just like the IBD brand. It is a great use of the dynamic IBD colour range and has a good finish, with attention to detail. It’s fun and wearable and the concept has turned what could have been a simple overlay into an eye-catching design."
