rent a chair - how much?

Hi all,

Am wondering about ofer a chair in my salon to rent but am totally confused as what to charge for weekly rent or do a % split??

What happens with products etc etc???

If you rent for a set amount then the stlist takes all the money and pays you a rent. They MUST provide their own products and equipment. The money must not go through your till. The vat rules are extremely complex on this and they do investigate.
A percentage split is a self employed stylist who uses your products etc who you pay as apercentage of takings. Vat is paid first on the turnover. The stlist pays their own tax/ ni and doesnt get holiday or maternity pay.
