1 year anniversary help!!

Hi

The salon were i work has got its 1 year anniversary coming up! We want to hold an event to celebrate but are struggling to think of a different idea. We have done the usual evenings/days were you do demonstrations and mini treatments etc but really want to do something diferent this time....any ideas??

you could link up with a charity
do raffles where people will receive free cut blow drys etc
make it a themed day/night
make it personal and get everyone to talk about what they like/dislike about the salon
contact the local paper

Not sure if it would work but how about doing a "paper" theme as paper represents 1st anniversary?
paper vouchers,
paper raffle
paper discount cards
paper goody bags
make paper questionnaires, & get clients to fill them out to get some feedback.

Or have a "one" year theme,
Buy one treatment/raffle ticket get one free etc

Have a search for salon opening days, etc they should give you some ideas as there has been many threads on here with similar questions x
