Hi, Just wondered if anyone can give some advice. I currently own a beauty salon with my business partner. At the moment, it is just the two of us working there, we have a spare treatment room that is going unused. And would like another therapist to be working in it.
So.... my question is...
should we employ someone, or have someone thats self employed already??
Obviously if we employ them, we have all the stress of sick pay, maternity, paying them an hourly rate, even if they are not busy in treatments they still get paid. However if they are self employed, we wouldnt have to deal with that, we would just take a cut of whatever they earn from treatments.
Does anyone have any experience of this? Any advice would be really useful!
