I am thinking about starting up a part time salon from home as an extra income from my main job (not in beauty industry) but am slightly put off with all the legalities there seems to be with informing the council, permission from neighbours, house insurance changes, health & safety inspections, etc.
I would love to hear from anyone who works from home as to everything you need to do before setting up and once it's in place! I'm in Scotland so don't know if it's the same all over the UK or any differences?
My treatments would be starting out mainly waxing, manicure, pedicure, eyelash/brow tinting, basic back massage & mini facials. hopefully expanding on nails ie shellac minx once I have done the courses!
