Hi everyone
Need some help with a client who has been having lash extensions on and off for years. About 4/5 months ago after having her infills with no problems at all she all of a sudden had a reaction, her eyelids after a few days of having them became red, sore and slightly puffy. We decided the best thing to do was remove them and give her lash's a rest.
We've left it around 5 months and she asked if she could have another go as she thought maybe it was something else she was using. We did the lash test, put several on each eye and she was fine, we re did the lash's and all good until today 4 day's later, she's woken up with slightly puffy eyes and sore eyelids. She said the puffiness has gone down quickly. Surely 4 days later the glue cannot be affecting her eye's, however it has to be the lash's causing the reaction?? As it's happening whilst asleep, I'm thinking her eye's are over watering causing the puffiness and sore lids.
Has anyone else come across this before or anything similar, I want to take them off again but she's having none of it and said she wants to try antihistamine first, I've also said about putting a barrier on her eyelids at bedtime to see if this helps.
