Hi everyone! It’s been a while since iv been on here but really need some advice. I have a client that I normally do a scalp bleach on, she is a natural level 6. I normally tone with wella ct 10.6. I have to really watch it as it can grab on her hair and turn purple!
She is booked in tomorrow and wants to be grey!. I am planning on lifting her to a level 10 like normal, and using Shinefinity 07/81 and 08/98. I am very nervous of this turning purple! I have seen a few videos on tik tok of adding gold into ash toners to safeguard against it turning purple and keeping it bright?? Should I add a little bit of gold into it? I have 08/38 I was thinking of adding a touch in. Or I have 09/13? I’m not sure what to do???
Thanks in advance!

It should not turn purple if you formulate accordingly.
However, I almost always add a little gold into my formula, for example 08/38 or 09/36, for example. This way, the final color will look and appear more calibrated.
