Morning all im wondering what offers worked for you or how did you get the clients through the door. Am just starting to start my buisness off after i was ill last year and had to shut for the year so am trying to get back out there just wondering what works for you many thanks

Id start off with a soft launch......Register with the free directories, they main ones being as follows:

www.yell.com
www.freeindex.com
www.yelp.com
www.qype.com

Its incrediblky important to make sure all the business details are consistent accross all directories.....if there is any difference, even if its abbreviating 'street' to 'st' or 'road' to 'rd' then google may not like it and u may be penalised in rankings.

Also, establish a prescence on Facebook & Twitter. Create a Fan page on Facebook and invite everyone to join. Remember key to building an online prescence through social networking is keep it relevant, post often, but not too much and promote special offers from time to time.
