Best way to store customer details?

Hi I know how important it is to keep customer information and was thinking of keeping them manually filed away on forms but does anyone know of any good electronic systems I can use?

Something I would suggest before using a software program to store your customer details, is make sure it's compliant with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) Data Protection Act listed here - https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-data-protection/ More specifically, if it's compliant under Principal 7 (https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-data-protection/principle-7-security/). The ICO also has requirements for storing physical files as well if you choose to do so.
