Black hair colour question

I have 2 clients that have black hair and want to change colour. Neither are natural black. One wants here we go again Rhiannon Red and the other has an aim for blonde highlights but is happy to go lighter overall and have highlights later on. What is the best product to strip black off hair without damaging too much? any Help would be most grateful thank you
