Yesterday, I had sat all day with coconut oil in my hair before I bleached it in hopes to better protect it from the harsh chemicals. When I washed it out, my roots were super blond but everything else is patchy copper but lighter than it was. I'm doing another coconut treatment today to help fix any damage. My question is, can I try to bleach the darker parts today? I don't want to have my hair fall out! It's very thick and wavy by the way.

Firstly, Coconut oil cannot repair damaged hair so you should be looking to get some Olaplex treatments, especially if your hair has become fragile.

Second, visit a good quality salon to sort out your patchy colour.
It's very difficult even for professionals to successfully lighten their own hair without overlapping the product, especially around the back, so if you're trying to apply bleach to even out specific areas that you missed previously, you're likely to end up looking like a dogs breakfast. :(
