Blue/purple shampoo on brown hair with blonde highlights

hi, just popped over from beauty geek world. I have brown hair about a level 6 and a few bricked highlights ( wella high lift tint) I think its 12/03. anyhoo is a lovely gold caramel blonde and I like it but I wondered if I wanted to ash out the gold a little and use a blue shampoo, obviously I would have to shampoo my whole hair...would it make my natural brown hair go bluey also or would it have no effect on brown hair? hope that makes sense

the shampoo wouldn't effect your brown it would just neutralise out some warmth from your blonde , you need a violet shampoo, fudge one is fantastic.x
