Blunt ends

Helloo when my hairdresser cuts my hair its great and then once my hair starts to grow the ends become blunt like in the pic. (This is just over a month after my cut)
Is it my hair? It is a little dry on the ends. should I ask for the ends to be "softened" next time?

Yeh ask her to "texturise" the ends and the layers, give a much more blended look without harsh lines.

She needs to go through it once its dry and soften through all the ends x
