Hi geeks
I have a new home based beauty room and I'm trying to be organised with my book keeping and just wanted some advice.
None of my clients want a receipt but I have purchased a duplicate invoice book just so I can keep a record of treatments and know how much to bank each week. Firstly, is this enough as far as record keeping goes for an accountant to have at the end of the tax year and secondly , if any clients do want a receipt is it the top or bottom copy that I give them?

Thank you in advance!!!!!:D

Anyone???? Please???

I generally keep spreadsheets of incomings and outgoings which are business related.

If you were going to give your clients a receipt it would be the top copy.

You would give them the top original copy that you wrote on

Thank you both so much

Hi

Mummy cat can I ask what you put as you headers on your spread sheet please.
Thank you

Yeh me too I'm stuck on how organise it and I just don't know how to header and the layout, I have the drop box thing from a fellow geek but it doesn't make any sense to me. I wanna do it myself coz I am capable but just need a wee nudge lol any help would be great xx
