Colour case study

hey, hopefully omeone can help me, I'm doing my level 3 hairdressing and my tutor has given us colour case studies to do I've managed to do all of them apart from one-

a client has come in and she has a base 4 she wants it lifted to a seven she has had previous tints on her hair. even though she has a big regrowth her mid lengths and ends are a 4/7 she doesnt want bleach on her hair.

i thought bleach would be the only option?

Maybe because the re-growth is virgin hair if it's a big re-growth?? I'm only training myself so apart from bleach I don't know coz tint can't lift tint :? X

Bleach Bath is out of the question then?

Can you not use a Colour Eraser/Reducer, such as Erasor from Affinage?
Use this to lift out colour and then apply a Lv7 , assuming it lifts out enough.

You could be really clever and use it to your advantage, she wants to be a red 7 o you can use matrix Sored, well magma, you get my drift? High lifting capacity tint even through colour.
