Would like to hear other stylists opinions on colouring breastfeeding mums' hair please :) I have a friend who has just had a baby and wants her hair coloured, will do a skin test first to check for reaction and strand test also but I'm a bit dubious about the breastfeeding part :-/ xx

I breastfed my daughter for 32 months and dyed my hair every 6wks ish throughout this time.
hth.

Same here. Had my hair coloured whilst pregnant and breast feeding, with all 3! No issues. X

It's all an old wives tale really, only thing is the hair sometime doesn't come out as expected due to hormone change etc, it wont harm the child in anyway, well it hasn't with all the expectant mums i have done over the years. Hth x

Breastfeeding mums should be ok, but for the sceptical ones you could use Inoa or other no-amonia products..
