Hello,

Once the gel has been cured, is there any difference between high viscosity gels and medium viscosity construction gels? Are high viscosity gels more likely to break?

What would you recommend for an overlay over cut-out french tips?

Best regards,

-Frank.

Not particularly (though there can be exceptions with extremes e.g. A builder Gel versus a Finishing Gel).

The viscosity is more relevant to the application at hand.
ie. use High Viscosity Gels for Sculpting on a form as they do not flow well.
Low viscosity gels are better suited for finishing gels.

On a side note, most manufactures achieve the different viscosities by blending gels with monomers
