Hi ladies,

I've read Lynne's thread how to promote your business-Some great ideas!

I am mobile, and I have several companies wanting vouchers for raffles, as I will have to travel to-from these (if they are redeemed) appointments and of course products-How do I account for this in my book?

Do I just not write these miles down for my mileage?

Secondly, the products- Do I just give these free or do I put the actual cost myself to my business?

Sorry if none of this makes sense! Xx

My accountant has told me to put it through as a marketing cost x

Thank you so much!

I do my tax return/accounts myself online, do you know if that is the cost of the treatment to me (ie how much it costs me in product)? Or the whole cost of the treatment retail price?

I over think things ;) lol x

You account for it in the same way as any other treatment so income = nil, expenses = all the usual expenses associated with a treatment including mileage etc. HTH
