I have used the demi 8sm and 10sm on prelightened hair. Did you use the permanent or semi/demi?

I used the demi, 7SM on roots and melted it into equal parts 10SM and 8SM

Mids and ends were lovely it was just the roots with the 7SM I wasn't happy with

If you had just lightened her she probably needed to be pretoned-especially on the newest/most porous area. I always pre tone when using the sm, vm and Brm lines. I like to use a level 8,9,10V. Or you can mix the sm with a drop of 1b also

I did pre tone and used the porosity balancer too ️
