Hi All,

I would like some advice on the best kind of hair brushes to by from a professionals point of view.

Is it best to go for a hairbrush which has bobbles on the end of the bristles and why?

Also do any of you use the sectioning pin which is in the handle of the brush?

And what size brushes do you use as I suppose it would depend on what style you wanted to create as they range from 16mm-75mm?

Many Thanks

Hi,
I would recommend getting about four different size round brushes (make sure you get the smallest one as this is very useful). I wouldn't bother getting a really enormous round brush as I have one for 3 years and have never had occasion to use it. I'd recommend ceramic brushes as these speed up drying time.
A paddle brush and a soft bristle brush (for brushing out sets and smoothing updos) are also a must for me.
They don't have to be super expensive - Head Jog do a good basic range if you are just getting started. Hope that helps! :)
