2 hours to do!!! Including extensions.

All my up dos are on my hard drive cos my laptop broke but I took one yesterday from when I had to save someone's hair! A woman just starting level 2 did a set, after 2 hours the client was annoyed to say the least! The bottom wasn't dry and there was so much product through the dry parts that it resembled at quaver!! So she asked me to put it up for her! So this is the picture of what I manage to do with itImageUploadedBySalonGeek1389197053.188809.jpgImageUploadedBySalonGeek1389197067.504189.jpg

All of these pictures are amazing!
I've specialised in colour for the last 10 or so years and now I want to branch out into hair up.
I know there's lots of videos on youtube and my best bet is just to practice on a head block, but does anyone have any useful hints or tips they can share.
I look at a lot of the pictures on here and I can't even tell where to start in recreating them!
Thanks in advance! X

I was the same as you had no clue where to start! I started watching Lilith moon on YouTube and then having a go! Once I learnt all the individual bits I was able to build them up into styles or adapt her styles etc! Best tip I know and I'm sure most will agree, make sure the hair has texture and isn't freshly washed! If it is freshly washed add dry shampoo or some hair spray to get the texture! Else it's too fly away and the hair is difficult to manipulate

Thanks lovely, I'll check out YouTube for that then.
I'm quite excited starting on something new! X
