Help with hair!

Not sure if I've posted this on the right forum!
Can anyone help I've got quite fine hair and one part at the back is quite a bit shorter where it's broken off, I don't wear it up, I do straighten it but it doesn't effect any other part of my hair and I have given my hair a break from it too. Also I have my hair highlighted but stopped that for a while although feel horrible when my hair isn't blonde!!:lol:
Last time I went to the hairdressers they cut it really short so I was really unhappy but they said it needed doing it's grown a bit now but there's still the broken bit at the back I just want it to grow evenly at the back!!
Ps I use conditioners,hair masques and use Morrocan oil.

It's a consumer question!! You need to not have any colour on, trims every 5-6 weeks till its all out and natural and start again, use something like matrix fortetherapie range and always use something like heat repair gloss serum from matrix biolage, when you blow dry and don't straighten!!
