HMRC fuel allowance - does the 45p apply to journeys there and back?

Hi geeks, just a really quick one. I'm trying to sort through my accounts and am wondering. Does the 45p allowance for travel cover journeys to a mobile appointment aswell as the journey back to my home?

So for example, someone lives 10 miles away, would this be a 20 mile journey or a 10 mile journey?

Yes, there and back to any appointment/supplier/work related meetings.

Just times miles by 0.45 xx
