In total shock, George Michael dead at 53

Another icon has left this world, an absolute idol of mine whose music has meant so much to me and so many over the years.

Very fortunate to have met him once, a memory I will always treasure.

R.I.P. George, you'll be missed but your legacy will remain. Simply a legend.

A shock but not a surprise, he's been pushing his luck for several years. A loss to music for sure

Whether he was pushing his luck or not, still a very sad and unfair thing to happen over this Christmas period. A loss to his family and friends, he may have been an icon but first of all he was just another human being who sadly passed too soon. I hope he is finally at peace, along with the other people we have lost this year.
