Can anyone recommend an insurer for self
Employed stylist? Think I better get prepared as I’m getting on a bit now

I looked into the many years ago but it was ridiculously expensive, something like £200 a month if I remember rightly. It's hard to find something specific too, as there are so many elements and options to consider such a long term sickness, mortgage cover requirements, etc. Many have a 60/90 period before they pay out, most ailments (hopefully) cured by then so you wouldn't have time to claim.
