Makeup travel surcharge

Hi everyone!! Just wondering what people charge for travel to do makeup?

I am a home based salon but travel to do wedding makeups. Do I charge for the time it takes me to pack and unpack my makeup from my stands? Ishould dan hour?

I would say charge a mileage rate for the call out, make it more than the tax rate so it covers some time too, ie $10 plus $1 per mile each way ... (I'm guessing your working in $'s after seeing another post). In uk it's 45p per mile for tax so I charge 60p per mile.

I charge for time, petrol & parking, or cab fare, depending on how I get there, I charge both ways, there and back
