This is probably a dumb question, but if you don't ask you don't find out.....

Can you use the Mosaic & Metro powders (from CND) straight from the pot or do you need to mix with white/clear/pink first? For example, if a client wanted coloured tips, could I just use them as they are or do they need a perfect colour powder as a base?

you can use them as they are our mix them with other colours. try mixing with natural, clear, soft white, glitter or each other.
 
As Jac says, straight from the pot, they're a lovely consistency, I find it easier to do smile lines with the colours, maybe the extra pigment gives me a moment or two extra workability :)

If you're worried about ruining a whole pot using them for the first time, decant some powder in to a spare dappen dish, once you've had a go you'll be fine

Thanks guys, just what I needed to know! If I do coloured tips, I'll definately take piccies - just need to remember to take the camera.....!!!
