MSM for thinning hair??

Just out of curiosity has anyone tried msm herbal tablets for fine hair. I read that it keeps ur hair in the growth cycle longer which promotes thicker hair?? Would like to try it but don't want to waste more money or could anyone recommend anything else? X thanks

Not tried it but sounds good , also if it kept the hair in the growth cycle longer I'm presuming it may grow faster? If that's the case me want some lol x
