Nail art dots and Confetti

Hello everyone
I brought some Nail art confetti and dots today. . . . . lol, but now ive got home and tried it im not sure how im meant to use it! :o I tried using a bit of top coat and sticking it on that way, but the dots ended up going on thick and not easy to spread. I tried picking them up with my brush but them they all stuck to the end of the brush :cry:
If any one has tried before and got any tips that would be a great help.

if its the little dots im thinking of, i put my polish on the nail,allow that to dry, apply a clear top coat then whilst its still wet i use a cocktail stick to pick the dots up one at a time and place them on the nail to make a pattern. Then i put one last clear top coat on to seal it all :biggrin:
