Hiya..

I have a client who was talking about having enhancements done. But she bites her nails.

My question is, do you have to tip nail biters, or could you sculpt?

To sculpt you would need some free edge, so you would probably need to apply tips.

You could do either sculpting or tipping on a nail biter.

And you do not really need a free edge to sculpt successfully.

Depending on the severity of the habit .... ie how disfigured the nail plate is and the skin surrounding it ... would make my choice for me.

The less severe the habit and sculpting is a perfectly good option. If the habit is very severe, the finished look will be better if you use a tip in my opinion... more sleek.

I was thinking of a bad nail biter - with no free edge to fit the form under. Is there a way of sculpting with no free egde at all then?
