Need to know legislation that affects the provision of massage treatments

Hi Guys,

I'm about to qualify as a Level 3 Massage therapist and am trying to find the exact legislation that affects massage treatments. I know the Health and Safety Act 1974 will come into it, along with my liability insurance but can anyone clarify this for me?

I've just googled 'massage legislation' and come up with quite a few interesting and helpful links. Just a couple of things to be aware of - a lot of councils have different regulations, so it would be worth contacting your local council to find out what's applicable in your area. Also, when I googled it, it came up with a few US sites, so make sure you use UK ones or you'll get wrong info.
