Sienna 1 hour express tan

Was just wondering if anyone can answer a question about the sienna 1 hour express tan? Does it matter how close you spray the solution onto a client? Will the client go darker if the tan is sprayed closer even though it's being washed off in an hour? X

Spraying closer will result in the tan being too wet ( and possibly streaky runs). It won't make any difference to the depth of tan as that is pre-determined by the solution percentage.
If the client wants a darker tan, use a darker solution
