i just recently completed liquid and powder course mainly to do my own nails, im nervous about trying this on my own as the first set i done on myself was dreadful. How did others get on when doing enhancements on their own nails for the first time

You just have to do it! The only way to improve is to practice. If smile lines are tricky on your wrong hand maybe do a one colour overlay and polish them.......

It does get easier though, after 6 years my hands look as good as each other!
