I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one and I’m hoping someone can help me...... I’ve been doing lash extension for around 2 months now and I thought I was suffering from an on/off cold but after a week on holiday and the ‘cold’ disappearing straight away, then coming home, doing a set of lashes and the cold symptoms coming back I’ve discovered that I’m actually allergic to the glue!
The last set I did I wore a mask to prevent the fumes from affecting me but I was actually a lot worse, wheezing, coughing, sneezing, eyes watering, ears itching and it all kicked in within 5 minutes of finishing the lashes.
Does anyone else suffer like this?? If so, did you change glue? What chemicals is it that needs to be avoided?
The funny thing is, I’ve been having my lashes done for years with no problem but now I’m doing them and patch test everyone I’m actually then one who it affects.
I hope someone can help as I think it’ll be a treatment I enjoy doing but it’s actually putting me off at the moment and making me miserable.
Glue I’m using is from Beautiful Brows
