Weekend nails,What are they

In a local salon they do weekend nails, any one any ideas as to what they are?

Weekend Nails are semi permanent nails.
The tips are applied as usual and then usually one layer of fibreglass and resin. So that after a party etc They can be removed easily.

They are basically glue on air brushed nails - the ones that you can buy in boots and do yourself!

They are the tips blended then you put a polish over the top great just for a couple of days but I have put them on and they have lasted 5 days.

I did some for a girl for her prom the other week, and they lasted a week!! When I do mine I don't fully blend the tip, just enough so that there won't be a ridge, but they have to have polish to hide the lack of blending if that makes sense!
