have you tried sothys they are a professional brand and they are a skincare brand that went into make up. All their make up ingredients are found in skincare so its not any rubbish your putting on the clients face

I have a mix in my kit of products I like working with.
My most used brands are rcma, illamasqua, Nars, mac, Armani etc.
I think it’s a matter of trying things and seeing what works for you & your clients.
Maybe pop to some make up counters and get some testers to take home and have a play. x
