Why has this happened to my gel brush?

It looks like it's been dropped from a height or it's come into contact with acetone which I'm sure neither has happened! Boo. It's just on the surface, not right the way through!

not a great picture...but then I'm half blind Is it the handle ? extreme heat or cold maybe ?

My older brushes have that. The bristles are all fine though if I ever need to use them again

Sorry Rinn! My phone isn't great at focusing, the surface looks crackled if that helps. It's brand new booo!
