Will a salon and barbers combined work

We have a commercial property becoming available soon. We could just rent it out or we could try and put a business in there.....

My stepsons a barber and desperate to leave his place where he rents a chair. The place is over 2000st ft, so a tad too big just for a barbers.

What are your thoughts on a combined salon and barbers, it could easily be split down the middle, one side make, the other female.
I'd just rent out chairs for the salon and let my stepson run the barbers
Would this work? Your thoughts please.

Yes. It could work. I think being really clear on whether they’re separate or combined is crucial. Making sure each client base is 100% clear on what’s going on. Tabard in London have successfully combined the 2 for example:
